Closing out the regular season on October 25, 2024, the Manchester Hawks Football made program history as they took home their first outright title as the 2024-2025 C-South Division Champions.

The Hawks sealed the deal with a 42-12 win over Monmouth in Week 8, shutting out their division with a 5-0 record. After 48 seasons, the momentous victory marks their first individual title; in 2020, Manchester shared the title of co-patriot champs with Lacey.

The Hawk’s hard work and accomplishments certainly did not happen overnight, however, it was a test of time and consistency.

Manchester Head Football Coach Thomas Farrell calms, “We live in a world where everyone wants things to happen quickly. When you’re trying to build something sustainable, something that you want to last forever, we have to do it the right way.”

For the Hawks, the “right way” involves both physical and mentally strength and dedication. The team focuses not only on improving on the field and in the weight room but also on cultivating a “one-game-at-a-time” mindset throughout each season.

Senior quarterback Aidan Lunn adds,“It’s an honor to win our division but we’ve put the hard work in to earn it and now we have bigger aspirations at this point in our season!”

Going into the play-off season, Manchester triumphantly took on West Deptford on November 1 in a thrilling 29-27 game. Moving on to the semi-finals, the Hawks will be on the road against Point Pleasant Boro on Friday, November 8.

While the Hawk’s historically battle through the season, the job is not finished yet as they continue to D.I.G.
