Coach Salvemini is getting Manchester’s Winter Track girls ready for their upcoming season with goals to become bigger, stronger, and faster.

Coach Moore is running the sprints, Coach Scheffler is running the jumps, Coach Eno is running the throws, and Coach Griff is coaching long distance and hurdle, as well as being the boy’s head coach.

Coach Salvemini said, “I am motivated by seeing the progression of the athletes. If I don’t see growth in each individual athlete’s performance over the season, who wants to get better, I feel like I’ve not done my job as a coach.”

Coach Salvemini is also expecting many records to be broken this year when it comes to individual and relays.

Senior Rachael Oliver is the returning captain. Specializing in hurdles, Oliver had a very strong indoor season last year, placing in the State Sectional meet and making it into Groups.

With this being said, Coach Salvemini and the rest of the hawk’s nest can’t wait to see how the girl’s indoor track team compete this year.
