The Votes Are In (NHL All-Star Game Update)

It’s official! The NHL just announced the last 12 players that are going to be at the All-Star Game. 

The three players that were added to the Metropolitan Division are forward Artemi Panarin, from the New York Rangers, defenseman Adam Fox, also from the New York Rangers, and goalie Ilya Sorokin, from the New York Islanders.

The players added to the Atlantic Division include forward Auston Matthews, from the Toronto Maple Leafs, forward David Pastrnak, from the Boston Bruins, and goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy, from the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Forward Nathan MacKinnon, from the Colorado Avalanche, forward Mikko Rantanen, also from the Colorado Avalanche, and goalie Connor Hellebuyck, from the Winnipeg Jets were chosen to represent the Central Division.

Lastly, forward Leon Draisaitl, from the Edmonton Oilers, defenseman Bo Horvat, from the Vancouver Canucks, and goalie Stuart Skinner, who is also from Edmonton Oilers were chosen to be a part of the Pacific Division team. 

February 3rd is when the NHL All-Star Skills are going to occur. It is going to start at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN. The NHL All-Star Game is going to be held at 3:00 p.m. ET on February 4th on ABC.

The All-Star game is going to once again feature a 3-on-3 tournament between 11-player teams. 

The NHL still hasn’t announced who is participating in each event for the Skills competition or if there are any new Skills they are going to be adding.
