Many MTHS students are confused about all of the different events occurring as the end of the school year approaches. 

The end of the school year brings a lot of school dances, awards, meetings and trips. It can be extremely hard to keep track of all of the different things happening and which ones students should attend. 

Below is a list of all of the end-of-the-year events that could be gathered from the district’s websites and from the office to help students keep track of what is going on in this busy time. The final exam schedule will be released by administration at a later date.

Thursday, June 1: 

• Lucky Leo’s Night For Seniors at Lucky Leo’s on the Seaside Heights boardwalk, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Friday, June 2: 

• Junior Prom, 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM at The Shore Club in Spring Lake

Saturday, June 3: 

• SAT Administration, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Monday, June 5: 

• Senior Field Day (schedule to come)

Tuesday, June 6: 

• Senior Scholarship Awards Night at MTHS, 6:00 PM 

Wednesday, June 7: 

• District Wide Art Festival at MTHS, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM 

Thursday, June 8: 

• Senior class meeting (Cap decoration instructions distributed-admin approval 6/12-6/19)

Friday, June 9: 

• Senior Prom at The Mainland Ballroom in Manahawkin, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM 

Monday, June 12: 

• Senior Field Day Rain Date

Tuesday, June 13:

• Senior Yearbook distribution during lunches, on stage in the auditorium
• Senior Athletic Dinner

Wednesday, June 14:

• Grades 9-11 Yearbook distribution during lunches, on stage in the auditorium

Friday, June 16: 

• Schools closed for Juneteenth

Monday, June 19: 

• Early dismissal for all schools
• Senior graduation practice and cap and gown distribution
• Senior Walk
• Final Exams (schedule to come)

Tuesday, June 20: 

• Early dismissal for all schools
• Senior graduation practice
• Final Exams (schedule to come)

Wednesday, June 21:

• Last day of school
• Early dismissal for all schools
• Senior graduation practice
• Middle School Graduation at MTHS, 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM
• High School Graduation, 6:00 PM (Tentative)
