Senior night is a night towards the end of the season where we honor our Seniors, and their tributes to the team! This year we have 6 Seniors on the team: Weronika Bigos, Lidia Grabowska, Alyssa Gray, Bella Palmiotto, Devyn Quigley, Samantha Villanueva. The Hawks played against the Freehold Boro Colonials, which ended in a win 2 – 1!
Set 1 the Hawks came out with a huge lead being 25-13, which was then flipped in set 2 being 18-25. Set 3 was a very close game between the two teams. It was 26 – 24 with the Hawks in the lead with the help of Alexa Vasquez, when she served an ace allowing the Hawks to win!
The Hawks stat leaders for this game were Devyn Quigley with 25 kills, 2 blocks and 15 digs. Weronika Bigos and Alyssa Grey, each with 2 blocks. Lastly, Samantha Villanueva with 15 digs and 16 service points.
Devyn Quigley also broke her career kills as well as record kills in 1 season. She will only need 2 more blocks to reach a season record. Which could be done at States, Thursday at Cinnaminson High School.
