Thursday, November 16, 2023, Manchester Township High School will be hosting a Red Cross blood drive. Located in the Auditorium, the drive will run from 7:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Qualifying Juniors, Seniors, and staff members (age 17+) have an opportunity to take part in donating blood that will help patients in need.
As a thank-you gift, donors will receive Elf & Red Cross Socks (while supplies last).

Tips to keep in mind when donating include:
- Hydrate: Stay extra hydrated the day before and after the donation process
- Eat breakfast/ meal before
- Be sure to get a good night’s rest before the appointment
- Be sure to have a form of ID upon arrival (if forgotten you will still be able to donate however, it makes the overall process fast and easier)
- The entire process is estimated to take an hour so it is best to schedule during a class you are willing to miss
- Donors will be given snacks afterward
- Relax, breathe, and find ways to distract yourself (phone, book, talk to support members of the Blood Drive Committee)
