Adviser Spotlight: Mrs. P. White

Adviser+Spotlight%3A+Mrs.+P.+White

The Talon will feature spotlights on various club advisers once a week so that the Manchester Community can get to know them.

Name: Mrs. P. White

What club(s) do you advise? Science Club, Robotics Club

What made you want to be an adviser at MTHS? I enjoy these activities and wanted to share with students with a like mind set.

Do you have any goals for your advising career? Over the more than 10 years advising both clubs I feel that the goals have been met. We have won many Robotics events which lead to us going to an international competition. The science club has gone on many memeral trips along with sharing memorable experiences during meetings.

If you had to advise another club besides the one you do, which would you choose? STEAM – So that students could learn how to design using some of the many machines we have and they could make money from these ideas.

What is your favorite part of being an adviser? How does it impact your life? I love running into students that have graduated and them saying we where just discussing something they had done with the club.
