Now that spring is here there are a number of spring themed festivals taking place everywhere, including New Jersey. With the weather getting warmer it might be nice to get out and do something, and all the festivals have an array of activities to enjoy. 

Essex County Cherry Blossom Festival 

Location: Branch Brook Park 

Event Summary: 5,000 cherry trees in bloom, bike races, 10k run, Japanese demos, 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, and live music.

Date: April 6 – 14

Exit Zero Spring Jazz Festival

 Location: Cape May Convention Hall 

Event Summary: There will be hundreds of musicians and international touring artists performing on stage in Convention Hall.

Date: April 19 – 21

Shadfest in Lambertville

Event Summary: The festival is celebrating the return of the shad swimming up the Delaware River. There will be good food, live music, and vendors. Lambertville is the “Antique Capital of New Jersey,” so going to Golden Nugget Antique Flea Market may be fun.

 Date: April 20 – 21

New Jersey Seafood Festival 

Location:Belmar 

Event Summary: The food will contain scallops, lobster rolls, coconut shrimp, fresh salads, etc.. There will be local artisans and market vendors too.

Date: May 17 – 19, 2024

New Jersey Renaissance Faire 

Location: Burlington County Fairgrounds 

Event Summary: It will be in the span of four weekends. It will consist of 16-century themed kings and queens, knights, live jousting, food, and music.

Date: May 18 – June 9

Wildwoods International Kite Festival 

Location: Beach at Rio Grande Ave 

Event Summary: Kite Flying. Big or small kites will be streamed along the sky.

Date: May 24 – 27
