Girls’ tennis is approaching a successful and steady season under the leadership of Head Coach McKennan and volunteer Assistant Coach Ms. Ashley Ramirez. They instill a positive mindset and life skills that players can use to ace on and off the court.
The Lady Hawks have already celebrated their first victory against Lacey and achieved a 2nd doubles comeback from losing to winning in a tie-breaker.
Returning players include Captain Ella Rajcok (1st Singles, Grade 12), Emily Johnson (2nd Singles, Grade 12), Hira Sajid (3rd Singles, Grade 12) Clarissa Guthridge (1st Doubles, Grade 10) Alexandra Zsoldos (2nd Doubles, Grade 12). New members Emma DeSantis (1st Doubles, Grade 9), and Danica Sardo (2nd Doubles, Grade 10). Exhibition players Samantha Bouzas (Grade 12), Maria Tovar (Grade 11), and Cassandra Fonti (Grade 9), as well as managers Luka Costa Seraphini (Grade 12), and Ethan Cardoso (Grade 12). They each put their best skills and assets to support the team.
The Lady Hawks Tennis team is composed of dedicated athletes who aspire to succeed on the court and become outstanding community members. Despite their vigorous AP/Honors classes, they remain involved in the team and have built and continue to build an everlasting legacy.
