If you haven’t been on TikTok or Instagram in the past couple of hours, you would’ve seen the hype over the band, The Marías. The Marías – which originates from Los Angeles-  is an indie pop band that is known to perform songs in English and Spanish. Their most recent single, “No One Noticed”, became a hit on TikTok., along with numerous other songs. Billie Eilish posted on July 17, of her singing along with the song on her Instagram account.

Then, on July 18, the song scored 1.5 billion official on-demand streams. On-demand streams in other words means streaming where the data streams have been prepared and are available for users who wish to play a specific song or video at a specific time. Following the posting of the singalong, the song grew by about 10 to 30% for about six weeks. In those six weeks, it reached 4.7 million, totaling about 223% growth. Since then, the song is No.12 on Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs chart.

A couple of hours ago, The Marías released an extended version, making it from 3:56 to 4:44 – about one minute and 28 seconds. There are currently two different versions, one ending in English, and the other in Spanish. Most music streaming platforms have the song. It is a very extremely good song, especially for those who are hopeless romantics, and who enjoy sad romance songs.
