Name: Maya Bachonski

School Activities/Sports Involved In: I am the captain of the varsity volleyball team. I also am in SGA for our school, junior achievement, and NHS. 

Something about Maya that would surprise you: I am a neat freak and my room has to be clean at all times.

Biggest motivation for senior year: To have an amazing last season with some of my best friends and have our school spirit be through the roof at football games and other events. 

Favorite class ever taken at MTHS: My favorite class I have taken at MTHS is spanish 4 with Mrs. Berhalter. She has always pushed me to be my best and has helped me become more confident in speaking spanish ! 

Goals after leaving the Hawks Nest: I want to go to college in Florida or South Carolina and study something to do with speech pathology or psychology . Overall I really want to use my fresh start in college as a positive to find new interests.

What Maya will miss most at MTHS: I will miss all of my friends that are in younger grades when I leave MTHS. I have made so many special bonds with people that I will cherish forever. I will also miss the amazing teachers that have formed me into the person I am today. 

If Maya had one wish, they’d wish for: If I had one wish it would be to get a lot of money, become really rich, and never have to work again.

Best MTHS memory: Amazing student sections at the football games and prom with my best friends.

Advice for the underclassmen: Enjoy your time while it lasts, the years go by a lot quicker than you think . Cherish every moment and get involved ! 

Favorite food: My favorite food is chicken parm.

Favorite musical artist: Cage the Elephant.

Favorite sports team: My favorite sports team is the Eagles.
