The MTHS Choir and Varsity Vocals are pleased to present… Singing Valentines. Flyers are hung around the school to promote the fundraiser. Fourth year Honors Choir student, Aaliyah Douglas, commented on the singing grams, saying that they’re “something positive for the school and community to help raise money for extracurricular activities like choir.” She continued to say that she finds this unique tradition quite necessary since not a lot of clubs in the school do not celebrate Valentine’s Day like the choir does. This is only their second year of participating in Singing Valentines. 

Do you have that special someone you want to show you care about them being your valentine?? For just five dollars, a group choir will sing a lovely Valentine’s Day song for them sometime on February 14th. Please note that while buying the gram, you have the choice to remain anonymous. You can purchase tickets at your lunch for only five dollars this week (February 6th to February 10th). Boys Varsity Vocals student, Ben Said, believes the grams are “a good way to spread love.” Junior, Owen Jeffers, echoed his statement, “Sending love is a great way to make someone feel special.”
