Fun and Nearby Places to go This Summer

As the school year is coming to an end, there are so many fun activities to try and places to go near Manchester where students can make a lot of memories.
Breakwater Beach Waterpark is a great place for anyone of the ages 3 and up. This waterpark has activities like the lazy river, an interactive multi-level play area, water slides, a wave pool, food court, and a souvenir shop.
Pedals and Paddles is on the Barnegat Bay near Seaside Heights and is a place to rent paddle boards, kayaks, and more for the day. People can also bring their own boats, jet skis, paddle boards, and kayaks too since it’s on the bay.

The Jenkinson’s aquarium is located in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. People can watch sharks, seals, and penguins being fed – along with many other aquatic animals. This attraction is right on the Point Pleasant Boardwalk.
JENKINSON’S BOARDWALK AMUSEMENT PARK
The rides on the Jenkinsons Boardwalk are open for the summer. The rides are mainly for younger kids, but there are also some fun rides for teens as well. People can spend the day or a few hours at this park with as many friends as they like.
Strollo’s Lighthouse in Point Pleasant Beach is known for their soft serve ice cream and Italian ice cream. Strollos has many flavors to choose from and many toppings to pick from as well, and is an outdoor establishment.
The beaches at the Atlantic City boardwalk are free with lifeguards working from 10 AM – 6 PM. There are shops, 5 star restaurants, casinos, attractions, and shows.
This restaurant is located in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. The main attractions to this restaurant are their milkshakes and their drinks with dry ice.
Coney Waffle is a famous ice cream place in Belmar. There are also other franchises throughout New Jersey if you aren’t located in Belmar.. Coney Waffle is known for their milkshakes with food decorations like cotton candy and lollipops. The milkshakes can feed multiple people because of their sizes. This shop also has many flavors and different types of desserts. Another big hit is their ice cream in a waffle.
Cape May County Park and Zoo is a zoo with many exotic animals that are not in a typical local zoo. One of the main attractions are the capybaras. Some other exotic animals they have are giraffes, kangaroos, flamingos, cheetahs, monkeys, and more. This zoo also has a few good places to grab a quick snack while enjoying the friendly animals.
