The Hawks were led by senior captain Josh Love, who rushed for 168 yards and 3 scores. Love is on his way to a record-breaking season and is currently in the top 5 for rushing yards in the state with 640. Love also leads the state in touchdowns with 14. Junior quarterback Aidan Lunn threw for 167 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Junior fullback Dante Mortellite led the Hawks in receiving, with 3 grabs for 60 yards and a score. On the defensive side, senior Manny Swain recorded 8 tackles, one of which for a loss, and a sack.

This Saturday, September 23, the Hawks travel up to Keyport with a 12:00 PM start time. Some might consider this game to be the division championship because Manchester and Keyport look to be the favorites in the Shore Conference Patriot Division.

The Hawks will be put to test for the remainder of the season and look to keep writing history as they  strive for the school’s first ever division title and playoff contention for the first time since 2010.
