Appreciation is the recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something.
May 6-10 is National Teacher Appreciation Week.
Not only is Teachers Appreciation Week a way for students, parents, and administrators to show their thanks for their educators, but teachers are also being recognized by restaurants and retailers across the country, offering discounts to honor teachers and educators across the United States.
According to the National Parent Teacher Association, the theme for this year’s week is “teachers are shining stars.”
