Being one of the first teams to begin competing this winter season at the Hawks nest, the boy and girls swim team are progressing through the 2024-2025 season.
Boys:
In their season opener against Lacey on December 6, the boys took home a tight 92-77 win. The team’s victory not only displayed their strengths and endurance but put them first in the B-South Division. The team bumped up to fourth overall in the Shore conference after a strong 94-76 win over Neptune on December 12. With a school record already broken by senior Todd Popek for his 57.62 time in the 100 Fly, and additional personal records surpassed by the team, the boys swim team is on track for an impactful season.
Girls:
The girls opened their season alongside the boys against Lacey and finished with a 52-105 score. Up against Neptune, the girls closed out with a 49-105 score. Currently 0-2 this season, the girls team is infused with underclassmen swimmers allowing room for hard work, growth, and progression through the season alongside the seniors and returners. Together as a team, the girls team are on their way to a promising season of accomplishments.
