A yearbook has six main purposes which make it a significant aspect to a students’ experience in high school:
-Memory book
-History book
-Picture book
-Record book
-Public relations book
-Reference book.
Each of these purposes make a yearbook unique to any other.
As a student, it is exciting to be able to document and reflect on your years attending Manchester Township High School, and purchasing a yearbook helps those memories last forever.
As previous yearbook editor, Miss. Maloney explains why she believes it is important to purchase a yearbook:
“Memories. I just looked at mine yesterday to look back at pictures since it was my ten year reunion. It lets me reminisce on all the fun times I had.”
