Thor: Love and Thunder Cast
The cast includes Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Christian Bale (Gorr the God Butcher), Natalie Portman (Dr. Jane Foster/Mighty Thor), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Jamie Alexander (Lady Sif), Taika Waititi (Korg), Russell Crowe (Zeus), Chris Pratt (Peter Quill/Star-Lord), Dave Bautista (Drax), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Sean Gunn (Kraglin), Vin Diesel (as the voice of Groot), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis), Stellan Skarsgård (Erik Selvig), Luke Hemsworth (Actor Thor), Matt Damon (Actor Loki), Melissa McCarthy (Hela Actress), Sam Neill (Actor Odin), and with a surprised cameos by Brett Goldstein (Hercules) and Idris Elba reprising his role as Heimdall.
“It was just my first bad guy.” “Ah, you never forget your first.”
HIDDEN DETAILS/EASTER EGGS:
- Thor: Love and Thunder starts off by showing Gorr the God Butcher’s tragic origin story with his daughter dying in his arms from starvation. Gorr’s daughter, Love, is played by Chris Hemsworth’s daughter, India Rose. Since this film is about family most of the cast’s family have small cameos in the film.
- The Necrosword’s storyline and history was changed drastically from the comics, Complex describe it by being connected to the Symbiote in the comics where in Thor: Love and Thunder it’s similar to the Ebony Blade (seen in The Eternals end credit scene with Dane Whitman and the subtle cameo by Blade).
- Korg narrates the story of the “God of Thunder” to “Only Time” by Enya. Starting off with being raised “in the way of the warrior” with a hilarious shot of Frigga with her army in battle with baby Thor swaddled to her.
- This isn’t a hidden detail but can we all appreciate the remarkable 80s music used in Thor: Love and Thunder including “Only Time” (by Enya), “Welcome To The Jungle”, “Paradise CIty”, “November Rain”, “Sweet Child O’ Mine” (all by Guns N’ Roses), “Our Last Summer” (by ABBA) just to name a few. The complete list can be found HERE.
- When Korg says, “He grew, and he grew, and he grew…” Viewers see Thor throughout the ages first as a young child running through the forest. Kid Thor is played by Tristan Hemsworth, Chris Hemsworth’s son. Once again most of the cast’s family make small appearances throughout the film.
- Teenage Thor is seen wearing a comic accurate Thor costume with the silver winged helmet, bright colored cape, and bright yellow boots. Fans are boasting about this easter egg since we just saw Classic Loki’s comic accurate costume in Loki. Fans absolutely would love to see these two together but that is highly unlikely. Marvel absolutely loves to give the fans what they want. Lately, that’s been comic accurate costume easter eggs. It’s been seen most recently in WandaVision (Wanda’s Sokovian fortune teller and Vision’s Mexican wrestler Halloween costumes), Loki (Richard E. Grant’s Classic Loki), and it was teased in Hawkeye by Kate Bishop.
- Adult Thor is wearing cold plated armor which appears to be from Thor: The Dark World.
- As Korg reminisces about Thor’s past loves he says, “Another time he loved a wolf woman.” The wolf woman is played by none other than Elsa Pataky, Chris Hemsworth’s wife.
- “But Thor’s one true love was an Earth woman named Jane Fonda. Oh, wait. No. Jane Foster.” It seems to be that the Guardians’ pop culture references are rubbing off on Korg.
- Thor is a tragic character and Korg reminds us of this when he lists all the people Thor’s lost. He lost the battle of love between Jane (after the events of Thor: The Dark World), his mum, Frigga (in Thor: The Dark World), his dad, Odin (in Thor: Ragnarok), the warriors three, Fandral, Hogun, and Volstagg (in Thor: Ragnarok), his best friend, Heimdall (at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War), and his brother, Loki (in Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and finally killed off in Avenger: Infinity War when Thanos snapped his neck.) “You know, I’m 1500 years old. I’ve killed twice as many enemies as that. And every one of them would rather killed me than not succeded. I’m alive because fate wants me alive. Thanos is just the latest of a long line of basterds, and he’ll be the latest to feel my vengeance- fate wills it so.”
- While Thor is working out you can see he is wearing an Avengers hat with all the Avengers’ names on it. However, Thor designed it especially for himself writing “Strongest Avenger” on the front and crossing out all of the Avengers’ names except for his so the hat reads, “Strongest Avenger: Thor”. This is a small nod to Thor: Ragnarok when Thor is trying to unlock the Quinjet still standing by his word that he is the strongest Avenger.
- Thor places Stormbreaker in a patch of dirt which makes it grow roots, some fans questioned why this is, but if you recall in Infinity War Groot sacrificed his arm (cutting it off completely) in order to help Thor, Eitri, and Rocket finish making Stormbreaker.
- This isn’t a hidden detail but Thor rides Stormbreaker as if it were a witch’s broom.
- During the opening battle with the Guardians, Rocket and Thor argue over having a holiday. “You said this planet would be a relaxing holiday.” “I said it was going to be like a relaxing holiday. Look at that resplendent skyscape. Three suns of Saturn. What could be more relaxing than that?” “An actual holiday!!” This might be a stretch but this could be hinting at The Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special that is releasing this holiday season on Disney+. Nothing has been released yet about the special so the timeline is unknown but it is assumed that it will take place after Thor: Love and Thunder and just before Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3.
- Thor’s tank top (which is paired great with a sleeveless red vest) during the opening fight scene is a design of “Yggdrasil the World Tree” which is a nod to Norse mythology. While fighting the Booskan “Welcome to the Jungle” can be heard playing.
- We hear multiple Guns N’ Roses songs (listed above) in Thor: Love and Thunder, one of the best used songs was “Sweet Child O’ Mine” during the escape from Omnipotent City. This song was used in all of the trailers and it is also the credit song.
- In the first scene when fans are reintroduced to Thor’s past love, Jane Foster, who is suffering Stage Four cancer. Showing her new life going from a scientist in New Mexico to undergoing chemotherapy. Another patient next to her is reading her published book, “The Foster Theory: Space and Time Travel” which is a scientific book by Dr. Foster about Time Travel and the Einstein Rosen-Bridge. This is a small detail but truly shows how Jane’s career has advanced since the last time we saw her in Thor: The Dark World. We know from previous films she was considered for a Nobel Prize which is just one of her many achievements, she even went to Asgard after having an Infinity Stone implanted in her… Which was seen again in Endgame if you didn’t remember what happened in Thor: The Dark World since that is one of the lowest rated and critiqued MCU films. In this same scene, Jane rips a page out of her book to have a 3D model to explain space travel while she does this she asks a fellow patient if he’s seen Interstellar or Event Horizon (it is revealed he has seen neither).
- Some familiar faces appeared in Thor: Love and Thunder, Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis) and Stellan Skarsgård (Erik Selvig) reprising their roles. Fans recently saw Darcy Lewis back again since Thor: The Dark World in WandaVision where it’s been almost seven years since viewers have seen Erik Selvig, last seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron. It was teased in Endgame that Erik did fall victim to the infamous Thanos snap where it is assumed that Darcy survived the Blip. In Thor: Love and Thunder Darcy is with Jane during her chemo treatment. “Anyway, it’s not that serious.” “Jane, it’s Stage Four.” “Out of, like, how many stages?” “Four.” “That we know about.” Where Erik makes a small cameo, video chatting with Jane about her cancer progression and the results of her treatments.
- Due to the destruction of Asgard, the surviving citizens now reside in New Asgard, which is a tourist attraction, led by their charismatic leader, King Valkyrie. When we first see Valkyrie in Thor: Love and Thunder it follows Valkyrie’s responsibility as the leader showing the grand opening of a new ice cream shop, Infinity Conez. Complex asked, “It also begs the question: To what extent is the public aware of the Infinity Stones?”
- While showing Valkyrie’s responsibilities as King of *New* Asgard, Valkyrie filmed a commercial for Old Spice. “Smell like a king, because you’re worthy. Old Spice.” The funny thing is there is an actual commercial with Luke Hemsworth as Thor for Old Spice.
- Similar to Ragnarok, Love and Thunder also includes another hilarious play about the events that took place in Ragnarok with Luke Hemsworth, Matt Damon, and Sam Neill reprising their roles as actor Thor, Loki, and Odin, with the new addition of Melissa McCarthy as Hela. They reenact Odin’s death and the destruction of Mjolnir. “I broke your hammer. Time to die!!”
- A Marvel One Shot released in 2016 titled “Team Thor” suggests what Thor has been doing during the events of Civil War and Infinity War, which is also known as the Raganrok era. This mockumentary-style was directed by Taika Waititi and introduces Thor’s roommate, Darryl. In Thor: Love and Thunder Darryl can be seen as a new tour guide in New Asgard. Fans are begging to find out how Darryl made his way as a worker in New Asgard. Though it was announced that Taika Waititi is not down to direct Thor 5 (even though that movie has not even been rumored yet) it begs the question if he’d be willing to return for another Marvel One Shot… Team Darryl: Part Two? It is also in question that since the One Shots are canonized with the direct connection to All Hail the King as well as Team Thor and Team Darryl, are Marvel One Shots making a comeback?
- Thor: Love and Thunder introduces two screaming goats Thor is gifted named Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder. In the comics Thor has two goats similar in Norse mythology; his two goats, Tanngnjoster and Tanngrisnir, pull his chariot. As seen in Thor: Love and Thunder Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder pull The Aegir which is a viking skiff.
- While the Guardians and Thor are arguing about the new additions of the goats, Kraglin (Sean Gunn) comes and introduces everyone to Glenda… Who he married. Peter hilariously says, “What did we tell you about jumpin’ into new relationships?” “That I shouldn’t be doing that.” “Yeah, you can’t get married on every single planet we land on.” Fans are really hoping they address this in The Guardians of the Galaxy: Christmas Special or The Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3.
- Fan-favorite, Lady Sif is back once again!! She recently cameoed in Loki after not being in the MCU since Thor: The Dark World even though she had a minor role in Agents of Shield. Thor discovers all these gods have been murdered while Sif sends a distress call to him. Korg and Thor venture off to discover that Lady Sif had been hunting a “madman” but was caught in a trap, left for dead by Gorr. “The God Butcher is coming.” It is revealed that Gorr cut off her arm during battle which Thor jokingly believes is in Valhalla. She doesn’t let this slow her down as a warrior though, at the end of the movie she is seen training the next generation of fighters. Specifically she trains Astrid “Axl”, Heimdall’s son, which is heart warming since this is a callback to Thor and Thor: The Dark World where Lady Sif and the Warriors Three were quite friendly with Heimdall.
- Fans were super excited at the ending of Endgame when Thor stuck around with the Guardians being the “Asgardians of the Galaxy” but in Thor: Love and Thunder they barely had them together which made fans upset. There is one quote in particular that perfectly describes the Guardians’ found family aspect though. It is said by Peter Quill which is once again perfect to be said by the leader. The way Chris Pratt says it though, truly shows how invested he is with the franchise, the character, and how much of the family not only the Guardians are but the actors as well. “If you ever feel lost, just look into the eyes of the people that you love. They’ll tell you exactly who you are.” Taika Waititi however, being himself turned this heartfelt moment into a minor joke since almost every MCU character now is used for comic relief.
- When Thor and Korg find that Gorr killed Falligar, a creature of the Galactic Frontier. The shot of Thor staring at his massive body is taken exactly from the comics, especially from issue three of Thor: God of Thunder released in 2013.
- Gorr sends off shadow creatures to New Asgard destroying their village and kidnapping all the Asgardian children. During this battle Thor is reunited with Mjolnir again but discovers that it is Jane who is wielding it now. “JANE?!” Coming face to face with the woman he once loved and was left broken hearted by her. Fans have been waiting years to see Jane become the Mighty Thor while Thor passes on the mantle. However, fans lost hope when she refused to return to the MCU after Thor: The Dark World due to issues with the director. Fans were ecstatic when Taika Waititi presented Natalie Portman as the new Thor, passing her the hammer at Comic Con 2019.
- While Korg recalls Thor and Jane’s relationship, recapping what happened between them and why Jane left Thor. There is a hilarious montage of them together to ABBA’s “Our Last Summer”. During this montage while Jane is asleep, Thor talks to Mjolnir telling it, “I need you to promise me you’ll always protect her.” Hence why she can wield the hammer. After Jane breaks up with Thor through a note she left him, Korg says, “And their legends suddenly became a myth.”
- Another recall from the Marvel One Shots is that Thor has Nick Fury’s name in his phone as “Nick Furry”. In Team Thor, Thor questions what Nick Fury’s real name is and it’s hilarious that they put this small detail in from such a minor project.
- “Quite a reunion, huh?” “Eh, you’re telling me.” “What’s it been? Like, three, four years?” “Eight years, seven months, and six days.” This quote has fans wondering if Jane was blipped or not especially since nothing was mentioned or teased in this film.
- Valkyrie can be seen wearing a Phantom of the Opera sweatshirt in Thor: Love and Thunder. It was revealed that Jennider Kaytin Robinson, the co-writer, was the inspiration for the look. (NON MARVEL) The Phantom of the Opera was the longest running Broadway musical, running for thirty-five years but it was just announced that the curtains will be closing February of 2023.
- While filming Thor: Love and Thunder during certain scenes Natalie Portman had to be put on a deck/platform since the character of the Mighty Thor had to be six feet tall where in real life Natalie Portman is really 5’ 3’’.
- Luke Hemsworth and Matt Damon ask Valkyrie if they should start working on a new play about the attack on New Asgard. “People need entertainment.” “Particularly now, in times of crisis.” If there is a Thor 5 or the next time viewers see Thor, will we be getting a performance of Thor: Love and Thunder from Actor Thor and Loki?? “Agard. Night. We open on sleeping children.” Particularly a performance of the shadow creature attack.
- Viewers complained about the CGI in Thor: Love and Thunder during the initial release and with it streaming on Disney+ now, viewers noticed that Marvel seemingly updated the CGI. It’s most noticeable with Axl’s floating head in a scene since it looks sharper than the theatrical cut. This is not the first time Marvel has gone back and updated their CGI on projects streaming on Disney+. It most recently was noticed in WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. This is angering fans since there is much controversy over Marvel’s CGI and VFX department lately, since workers are given too much work to complete in too little time and paid too little.
- Heimdall’s son, Astrid, insists on being called “Axl”, because of Axl Rose, lead singer of Guns N’ Roses, in which we hear a lot of in Thor movies now. “I no longer go by the name Astrid. I’m now known as Axl. He’s a singer from a popular band I heard on Earth.” “G N’ R.”
- Gorr holds the Asgardian children captive in the Shadow Realm which is a very cool concept to have a fight scene in a galaxy of infinite darkness. The design of the Shadow Realm is unlike no other place seen in a Marvel project yet especially during the fight scene when characters like Thor, Mighty Thor, and Valkyrie stand out in the shadows with subtle colors.
- Funny enough the scene where Thor and the gang decide to go to Omnipotence City. Jane says, “Well if it’s color we need, let’s bring the rainbow.” This scene is actually called “Taste the Rainbow”, which was revealed by director Taika Waititi in a recent interview.
- Fans absolutely love the LGBTQ+ representation in Thor: Love and Thunder. It is revealed that the woman Valkyrie loved was killed in battle by Hela which was briefly seen in Thor: Ragnarok. Marvel is keeping the character of Valkryie quite comic accurate since she is bisexual in the comics.
- Once again fans are complaining about the CGI quality, especially the use of it for the Mighty Thor’s helmet, where Thor’s blue and gold helmet was all practical.
- While trying to sneak into Omnipotence City to have a quick visit with Zeus, Thor says, “It’s invitation only so we’re gonna have to keep a low profile and blend in. Luckily, disguises are my specialty.” He says this while wrapping his cape around himself. This is a nod to Thor: Ragnarok while trying to escape Sakaar. “What’s with the…” “It’s my disguise.” “But I can see your face.” “Not when I do this, you can’t.”
- In Omnipotence City there are many hidden details within the crowds of gods including Bast, who is worshiped by Wakandans, Diontsius, the god of wine who is surrounded by grapes, and Bao, the god of dumplings which is a nod to the 2018 Pixar short Bao.
- Korg points out the god of Kronan, Ninny of the Nonny. This is a great detail because the Kronan god is sitting on a throne made of scissors because rock always crushes scissors. “You don’t need to be afraid, unless you’re made of scissors!! Just a little Rock, Paper, Scissors joke for you.”
- Russell Crowe made his Marvel debut as the king of all gods, Zeus. His performance fell short with both fans and critics due to his questionable Italian accent. The backlash he’s receiving as Zeus is quite similar to what happened back in 2012 for his role in Les Miserable. With such reviews as describing his acting and singing as “les miserable”.
- Fans are raving about Valkyrie and Jane’s new found friendship in the movie, some say it made the movie. “I’m bashing heads in 60 seconds so speak fast.” “Literally, heads will roll.” “(whispers) Who are you two?”
- When Zeus flicks off Thor’s disguise (and clothes) it’s revealed that Thor has a tattoo on his back of Loki’s horned helmet that says “RIP Loki. Brothers.” with flowers and a grave surrounding it. Another tattoo he has is a scroll with names of all he’s lost that reads, “Mother, Father, Heimdall, Loki (?), Tony, and Natasha”. If viewers look closely there is a question mark next to Loki’s name since he has died three times now in Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and Avengers: Infinity War. After the events of Thor: Love and Thunder it seems that Thor will have to add another name to his back… Jane.
- During the fight scene on Omnipotence City, when Thor, Mighty Thor, Valkyrie, and Korg take down Zeus’ guards, they bleed gold. Many suspect the change in the color was to preserve the PG-13 rating.
- As Thor and the gang make a great exit after killing Zeus on The Aegir, two Celestials can be seen in a framed window. If you can’t recall but in Eternals we found out that the Celestials are these creatures that predate the Infinity Stones.
- There is a MAJOR plot hole in Thor: Love and Thunder surrounding Korg. Korg says he was conceived by his two fathers where in Thor: Ragnarok he mentions his mother. CBR said, “Did director Taika Waititi, who voices Korg, just forget how his character was introduced?” And the answer is, yes.
- “I wanna live in the moment, I wanna live like there’s no tomorrow, throw caution to the wind. I want… I wanna be with you, Jane. What do you say?” “I have cancer.” Jane’s storyline in Thor: Love and Thunder is quite comic accurate when becoming the Mighty Thor.
- Running out of time and options, Jane takes a chance in mythological folklore believing that wielding Mjolnir would give her a second chance at life and cure her cancer. “I was just feeling tired, and then they told me I have Stage Four. Get my affairs in order. And then I heard Mjolnir calling me, so I thought maybe, if science isn’t working, maybe Viking space magic.” However, turning into the helmet and cape wearing Mighty Thor comes with a price. It is later revealed in the film that every time she wields its powers, it weakens and hurts, sucking out her life force. Meaning that it is slowly killing her.
- Korg asks, “Do you think those two [Jane and Thor] will ever hold hands over a hot lava pool and make a Thor baby?” It’s unlikely, sadly.” “Mmm, that’s too bad. I think Thor would make a great dad.” This quote foreshadows the ending of the movie where Thor is now “Uncle Thor” to Gorr’s daughter being her guardian as they fight side by side together, “Fighting the good fight for those who can’t fight good.”
- Gorr explains what Mjolnir is doing to Jane perfectly during the fight scene in the Shadow Realm. “You’re dying. I’m sorry. We’re on the same path. Just as the sword [Necrosword] empowered me, the hammer empowered you. But it did nothing to change your fate.”
- It isn’t until after the battle in the Shadow Realm does both Thor and Jane find out that Mjolnir is slowly but surely killing her. “But that hammer is killing you. Every time you use it, it’s draining all of your mortal strength, leaving your body unable to fight the cancer.” “What happened to ‘Live like there’s no tomorrow’?” “Well that was before I knew you might not have one.” This is one of the most heartfelt moments between Thor and Jane especially when he professes his love for her. “What’s the point of more time of this?” “Because I love you. I’ve always loved you. And this is a chance for us. But if you pick up that damn hammer again, then that chance is gone.” Thor tells Jane that he’ll fight Gorr by himself and come back with the children so Jane won’t have to fight and risk that fighting chance. But Jane being the Mighty Thor makes the decision in picking up the hammer one final time to help Thor bring the Asgardian children home to safety. Leaving a chance at a future with Thor to be gone.
- “First off, the name is Mighty Thor. And secondly, if you can’t say Mighty Thor, I’ll accept Doctor Jane Foster. And thirdly, east my hammer!!” I think we just need to all appreciate the character Jane and how empowering she is as the Mighty Thor.
- Complex pointed out that “in the major scene at the center of the universe, where our heroes go to meet Eternity, we see the carved busts of several Marvel characters. There’s no official confirmation; fans have only speculated about the identities of them. Several of the bandied about names include Lady Death, Infinity, The Living Tribunal, Eon, and Uatu the Watcher.”
- As soon as Jane returns to her human form leaving behind Mjolnir she dies in the arms of Thor. Her body then turns to dust and brings her to Valhalla similar to Odin’s death in Ragnarok. In the emotional end credit scene we see Idris Elba back as Heimdall welcoming Jane to Valhalla. Many pointed out that it’s odd she made it to Valhalla since she’s not strictly Asgardian but she did die protecting the people of Asgard, making her an exception. Fans are also questioning the nature of godhood up until now since humans qualify as gods. But like Korg says at the end of Thor: Love and Thunder, Jane “taught us all what it means to be worthy”.
- What are the rules for entering Valhalla again? In Thor: Love and Thunder Thor says that an Asgardian needs to die in battle in order to reach Valhalla. Fans are questioning this because in Thor: Ragnarok when Odin dies and turns into the golden dust, we’re led to believe that he died from old age and not in battle. Same with Loki he has died multiple times but his final death at the beginning of Avenger: Infinity War was in battle with Thanos but he never turned to dust. This may be because he is a frost giant but Jane made it into Valhalla on a technicality but Loki was literally raised by Odin and Frigga, some of the most respected gods in Norse mythology. Valhalla is meant to be an exclusive resting place for Asgardians. Personally, I think whoever decides who enters Valhalla made the right decision in letting Jane in but what about Loki?
- The ending for Thor: Love and Thunder is so bittersweet especially when we see Sif training Axl, Heimdall’s son. Mentioned above it’s a heartwarming moment since this is a callback to Thor and Thor: The Dark World where Lady Sif and the Warriors Three were quite friendly with Heimdall. Many fans are quite surprised that Marvel has kept Lady Sif alive since they did kill the Warriors Three in Thor: Ragnarok but who’s kidding, we all knew Lady Sif was the strongest of them.
- When “Uncle Thor” is making pancakes for Love at the end of the film, you can see that Love is reading Jane’s book, “The Foster Theory: Space and Time Travel”.
- Thor: Love and Thunder title explained!! Korg narrates yet another Thor adventure, bringing up Thor becoming the guardian of Gorr’s daughter as they fight side by side together. “Two warriors fighting the good fight for those who can’t fight good. They have traveled far, and have been given many names. But to those who know them best, they are simply known as Love and Thunder.”
- This is a very small detail but when Love, Gorr’s daughter, and Thunder, aka Thor, fight the good fight for those who can’t fight good at the end of the film. Love’s weapon is Stormbreaker where Thor is back to his old weapon of choice, Mjolnir. He carries his symbolic love for Jane in Mjolnir since it reminds him of her.
- A new hero is introduced to the MCU and taken directly from the comics. The mid-credit scene reveals that Zeus survived being impaled by his Thunderbolt that Thor struck him with. Zeus then says, “ It used to be that being a god meant something” he continues to say, “Now, you know, they look to the sky, they don’t ask us for lightning. They don’t ask us for rain. They just want to see one of their so-called superheroes.” Angered at Thor’s attempt to kill him, Zeus is sending the greatest warrior, Hercules, after Thor to kill him. Hercules is played by Ted Lasso’s Brett Goldstein. Fans are highly impressed with Hercules’ costume design since it looks like it was taken directly from the comics. So props to Marvel on that. In the comics Hercules is actually one of Thor’s biggest rivals and has been an occasional member of the Avengers. There are many possible projects that Hercules can appear in, some include, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the next Avengers film, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Some unannounced projects he could appear in as well is a solo Hercules project, an Eternals sequel, or possibly Thor 5.
- Fans are thrilled to see how all of this will turn out especially since after the credits it was revealed that “Thor will return”. Many people are reading too into this, some even speculating that Jane might even return since it did not clarify which Thor will return. I think it can be easily assumed that it’s Chris Hemsworth’s Thor who will return for the next two Avengers films and possibly cameo in upcoming projects. That being said don’t lose all hope on not seeing Jane again since her return was teased with her welcoming to Valhalla.
Thor: Love and Thunder is now streaming on Disney+!!
