UPDATE on Marvel Star, Jeremy Renner, Snow Plowing Accident

New details have emerged since the reported snow plowing accident involving Renner. On Tuesday, January 3rd, a press conference was held, releasing further details on the accident. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office announced that they reached a point in their investigation believing Renner was not impaired resulting in it to be a tragic accident. It was finally revealed that Jeremy Renner was trying to help free a stranded vehicle, driven by a family member, after being stuck in the snow outside of Reno. Due to “severe winter weather” the area experienced the night before, over three feet of snow had fallen. After the car was freed, Jenner lost control of the snow plow, “which weighs more than 14,00 pounds”, as it started to slide. It was then when he attempted to manually stop it when the accident happened. Police concluded that no foul play was suspected and the machine had been obtained for inspection to only find there were no mechanical failures.
Jeremy Renner shared his first photo since the accident via Instagram (@jeremyrenner). He posted a selfie on Tuesday night from his hospital bed, captioned, “Thank you for all your kind words. Im too messed up to type. But I send love to you all.” Multiple Marvel stars have reached out to share their love via social media including the Russo Brothers, Cobie Smulders, Chris Hemsworth, and Chris Evans, to name a few. Hawkeye actress, Hailee Steinfeld, even reposted Renner’s update, saying, “Come on partner!! ThankGod you’re healing. We are sending you love and prayers for a speedy recovery.” The two starred together side by side in the Disney+ series, Hawkeye.
New details have been emerging as well as additional updates on Renner’s condition since the reported accident.
