Advanced Communications and Journalism students, juniors Isabella Condello and Isabella Zaragoza, created a website about the Fallen Hawks Memorial Garden earlier this school year.

“The website’s purpose is to spread knowledge of the Memorial Garden’s existence and explain who is included in it,” Condello said.

The Fallen Hawks Memorial Garden was created in 2012 by members of the Class of 2014 and honors MTHS students and staff who passed away during their time at the school. The website helps the Manchester community learn about both the garden’s purpose and the individual stories of each person honored within it.

“Creating the website was a fun project,” Condello said, “and our work honors the Fallen Hawks by giving them the recognition they deserve.”

The Fallen Hawks Memorial Garden is open to students during the school day during passing time when weather permits and to the public during select special events such as graduation.
