Biggest Motivation For Senior Year: My biggest motivation for my senior year is knowing how close I am to achieving my dreams! I cannot wait to go to pharmacy school and get my doctorate in medicine, turning my dreams I have worked so hard towards into a reality. I will forever dedicate my life to hard work and perseverance, even when the going gets tough.
Favorite Class Ever Taken at MTHS: My favorite class ever taken at MTHS was AP biology.
Goals After Leaving the Hawks Nest: After leaving the Hawks nest, I hope to become a doctor of pharmacy and do Army ROTC, potentially commissioning as an officer in the United States Army.
What Mia Will Miss Most at MTHS: The one and probably only thing I will miss at MTHS is our amazing NJROTC unit, the cadets I have gotten so close with & made a positive impact on, and my two ROTC instructors.
If Mia Had One Wish, They Would Wish for: If I had one wish, I’d wish to live in Spain or Italy.
Best MTHS Memory: My best MTHS memory would have to be becoming the commanding officer of our NJROTC unit and all of the positive experiences that it brought to me. Being a leader is one of the most impactful and important experiences in my life, and I am so happy to have influenced so many cadets in a positive manner. Getting to make inseparable bonds with my subordinates has made me a better leader and a more motivated individual.
Advice For The Underclassmen: Never stop putting your all into everything you do- even if you don’t want to do it, put your best effort forth and be passionate about whatever you choose to do in life. Always work hard, and keep your head up high– everyone is capable of doing amazing things, they just have to work for it.
