The Seattle Seahawks have beaten the New England Patriots 29-13 in this year’s Super Bowl on Sunday, February 8th, 2026 in Santa Clara, California. The Seahawks were heavily favored to win over the Patriots, bringing their franchise their second Super Bowl trophy.
The Seahawks finished this season 17-3, this season and the Patriots, 17-4.The odds were in anyone’s favor. However, the Seahawks prevailed over the Patriots, thanks to several key players.
Offensively, the Seahawks scored the only points in the first quarter – a field goal. The Seahawks ended the half with a 9-0 lead, all field goals. The Seahawks dominated three quarters, 12-0.The Seahawks’ defense pressured the Patriots’ offense, shutting down every play quickly and effectively.
The fourth quarter came with a Seahawks touchdown by AJ Barner and a touchdown by Mack Hollins for the Patriots leaving the score 19-7. Jason Myers kicked a field goal for the Seahawks extending their lead to 22-7. The defense for the Seahawks had two interceptions in the 4th quarter where one of them ended up being an interception return. The Patriots had a couple minutes left and scored a touchdown by Rhamondre Stevenson ending the game at 29-13.
The Seahawks dominated the Patriots in many ways. The offensive line could not contain the Seahawks defense leading to Drake Maye’s poor performance.
The Seattle Seahawks had control most of the time against the New England Patriots and they ended up being the better team who made more significant plays. Kenneth Walker lll ended up being the Super Bowl MVP where he was the base of this teams offense.
