After a long day from my first wrestling tournament of the season, my appetite was ready to destroy a fat juicy burger, so I satisfied my cravings in the Brick Plaza at Red Robin!

Red Robin is a family friendly burger restaurant known for their gourmet burgers and brews. Not only will you be entertained by the good eats, but you will be entertained by the sports TVs all over! Gotta love restaurants like these because the entertainment matches Red Robin’s good eats!

Towering Onion Rings with Campfire Mayo and Ranch (Andrew Perez)

As I sat down in my comfy chair and looked at the giant list of burgers on the menu, I couldn’t resist taking a look at the appetizers too. What caught my eye was the Towering Onion Rings, 13 crispy onion rings with campfire mayo and ranch. The campfire mayo sounded pretty unique and the tower looked phenomenal, so I decided to try it. It was remarkable! The onion rings were so fresh and hot that it would fall apart! They were nice and light, crispy on the outside and you got that mouthful of onion on the inside. The onion was not too thick, it matched its coating perfectly! And that campfire mayo was addicting. It was very tasty, kinda like garlicky but mixed with ranch. Pretty good consistency as well. I would give the Towering Onion Ring Tower a 9.4/10 along with the Campfire Mayo. Starting off with the appetizer strong!

The huge list of burgers continued to amaze me. For my dad, the choice of fries had him debating between steak fries, sweet potato fries, and garlic fries. When he asked the waitress for her opinion, she offered to bring out a basket of sweet potato fries with our appetizer to make a decision that way. I never had a waitress be able to do this before, it was so kind of her!

The sweet potato fries were a hit! Thin, salty, and with a tad bit of crunch! Even better, they were served with the campfire mayo, taking it to another level! This came in clutch to snack on along with the appetizer, it deserves a 9.0/10! All of our snacking was fun, but now it’s time for the main event.

I finally decided to go with one of their Finest Burgers, The Southern Charm Burger. Brown Sugar Glaze, candied bacon, Whiskey River BBQ Sauce, Cheddar, caramelized onions, lettuce and mayo on a toasted brioche bun. Let me tell you, this burger was extraordinary. The meat was in fact fat, juicy, and delicious. The bun was nice and soft with the bacon cooked to a crispy excellence, and the candied bacon added a little touch of sweetness. Everything held together and the rest of the toppings complemented the burger’s tasteful adventure. Overall, this burger was creative, enjoyable, and fun, rolling in at a 9.2/10!

To serve as a side, I chose the steak fries which was not a mistake because Red Robin’s seasoning on them along with ketchup opened up a whole new world to steak fries. This was an 8.4/10, a very good combo and a filling side.

Red Robin’s are mainly known for their Gourmet Burgers, but you can’t sleep on the milkshakes that wash them down. I went all out with their Oreo Cookie Magic Milkshake with chocolate and Oreo cookies. Oreo milkshakes of any kind never fail my expectations, and this one was my ally. Served and presented in a tall glass with a plastic straw I was able to sip smoothly for that creamy texture. The cookie pieces crushed up inside were crunchy and I got mouthfuls in every delightful sip I took! Whipped cream and Oreo pieces on top, waiting for me when I finished before refilling my glass with the milkshake that was leftover! I thought it was very generous of Red Robin to have even more, because it refilled the glass so I basically had two milkshakes! The replenishment felt never ending! I’m giving it a 9.3/10, this milkshake sure was magical!

My Overall Ranking of Red Robin is an 8.8/10 for its outstanding eats, atmosphere, and service! Red Robin may be my new go-to for after wrestling tournaments, it was well worth my savory victory eats!
