Andrew Perez, Food Critic/Assistant Editor

Andrew Perez has been in the Communications and Journalism Program for two years and is a member of the Class of 2023. He has been titled Assistant Editor and the “Food Critic”. Andrew writes food reviews on restaurants and other good eats for The Talon and this year he plans on contributing to helping out with the yearbook and editing student journalist articles. Andrew was inducted into the Manchester Township High School chapter of the Quill and Scroll International Honor Society for High School Journalists in November 2022. He has been the team captain of the wrestling team his Junior and Senior years and has wrestled on varsity since he was a Freshman. Andrew has also been playing varsity tennis since his Sophomore year and will continue to do so for his final year. He’s been in the school concert and jazz band his entire high school career and is the percussion section leader in the concert band. Andrew has also participated in jazz band and marching band. For fun he performs in the pit orchestra during the school musicals.  Overall, the “Food Critic” is a great well rounded kid who is very involved and has built many connections through the programs he's taken a part in. He is extremely excited for his Senior year and has high hopes for the journalism program!
