Name: Jorge Perez Caja
School Activities/Sports Involved In: National Honor Society, Habitat For Humanity, Key Club Secretary, Cultural Awareness/World Language Club (Publicist for 1 year), Marksmanship (Rifle team) Commander, Blood Drive Committee. I am also involved in different outside organizations, such as being an Ambassador for the Travis Manion Foundation and an Ambassador for Humanity Rising.
Something about Jorge that would surprise you: I moved to Manchester during the beginning of 6th grade, transferring to MTMS from Joseph Battin School #4. I went through a couple of life changing experiences and now I tend to embrace the role of a “mini-therapist,” understanding and helping others when needed.
Biggest motivation for senior year: Making the most of what I have to drive others towards success.
Favorite class ever taken at MTHS: AP Computer Science Principles.
Goals after leaving the Hawks Nest: Become an AI software engineer while being a part of the Navy. Rebuilding old bonds. Become a father (not soon though, later in the future).
What Jorge will miss most at MTHS: People and the great memories made within Manchester Township.
If Jorge had one wish, they’d wish for: To have a chance to talk again with my great friends I made from Joseph Battin School #4, such as Julian Alvarez & Alejandro Montalvo.
Best MTHS memory: Being selected to go to American Legion Jersey Boys State & Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, and the fact that I’m the 1st ever commander for this school’s Marksmanship team!
