The holiday season has ended, and so has the NFL regular season. Football fans have waited 18 long weeks, but the wait ends now. The NFL playoffs are here.
Now, what are the NFL playoffs? The NFL playoffs is how the champion is decided. The NFC and AFC (the two divisions in the NFL) each have their 7 best teams in the playoffs, and they’re seeded (ranked) based on their position and record after Week 18.
In the NFC, the 1-seed Seattle Seahawks will take a bye week, and take on the winner of the matchup between the 4-seed Carolina Panthers and the 5-seed Los Angeles Rams. The other matchups include the 6-seed San Francisco 49ers and the 3-seed Philadelphia Eagles. The winner of that game will take on the winner of the 7-seed Green Bay Packers and the 2-seed Chicago Bears in the Divisional round.
In the AFC, the 1-seed Denver Broncos will take a bye week, and take on the winner of the matchup between the 4-seed Pittsburgh Steelers and the 5-seed Houston Texans. The other matchups include the 6-seed Buffalo Bills and the 3-seed Jacksonville Jaguars. The winner of that game will take on the winner of the 7-seed Los Angeles Chargers and the 2-seed New England Patriots in the Divisional round.
Now, The Talon prides itself on only spreading statements that are backed up by facts and statistics. However, in my opinion, which isn’t factual, or statistically true, I predict that Super Bowl LX will be between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. I believe that the Patriots will prevail, with young Patriots QB Drake Maye winning not only NFL MVP, but Super Bowl MVP.
Bad Bunny is set to perform the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, and while the NFL has been met with some backlash over the choice, I believe it’s a good choice for the Bay Area-Super Bowl. (although I would’ve liked Metallica to bring some classic rock flair to America’s game.)
My full Playoff predictions are as follows:

(5) Rams beat (4) Panthers
(3) Eagles beat (6) 49ers
(2) Bears beat (7) Packers

(2) Bears beat (3) Eagles
