Why did you become a Teacher/Administrator/Counselor?
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, but I never knew what subject I wanted to teach. It wasn’t until my senior year here at MTHS that everything clicked. One of my teachers told me he could see me becoming a physical education teacher. I had never really considered teaching P.E. before, but after thinking about it, it made perfect sense. I’ve played sports my entire life and have always had a passion for teaching. Combining those two interests felt like the perfect career path for me.

Biggest Motivation for becoming your current position at MTHS?
Since graduating from MTHS, my biggest motivation for becoming an employee here is to make sure I give my students the same great experience I had during my 4 years of high school. MTHS has such a positive impact on me, and I want to help create that same kind of supportive, encouraging environment for the next generation of students.
