Coming off of two big personal records last week at the Bill Bruno Ocean County Championships Manchester Township senior Tyrone Benjamin became the first runner from Manchester to win the 100 in the Shore Conference.

On Monday May 22 at the Shore Conference Championship Benjamin ran a time of 10.83 in the 100 meter finals, which beats his previous record of 11.13 by 3 tenths of a second. Benjamin also broke Manchester’s school record that was held by CJ Anderson in 1996.
